    Hi every one
    I have a Kenmore stove model c968-68781-1
    type B 45,with a name plate rating of 8.6 a for the 208 volt slot,and 11.4 amps for the 240 volt slot.
Now I have not put a ampprobe on it to check it , but would this be the correct current at that voltage?
If these figures are correct then would E.S.A. allow me to run no.12 awg copper wire to feed it? ( it is a free standing range )also it has a 50 amp plug on the back (factory installed)

You can not use smaller than a #8 for a range. Read 8-300 (1)(a), you have to calculate for a range that is at least 8kW.
